This fight was a true test of a guild's strength and determination. There are few fights that will either make or break a guild and I am proud to post today that Escaper Did Not Fall. I will not even pretend that my doubts almost won out, I had more doubt and more frustration over the last few months because of this fight than any other encounter to date. But through the horrible recruitment environment, random work shit, terrible fucking ISPs - we did it. We are the Light of Dawn. Bring on the next Expansion - Escaper will be there.

As a Light of Dawn myself i know how fucking frustrating this fight is and how much work is needed to get it done.

many of you may not remember me, most of you prolly didn't even noticed my existence, but i was part of Bravo Company when they first xferred to the server, and i had always admired you guys and the progress you all have made in raiding. Sadly i had to move on and left Bravo and the server a couple months ago to tackle the bitch king's HM.

Hi Guys,

First off, just wanted to congratulate the current roster on your stellar accomplishment. It is a REAL treat to get to follow you guys and see just how far you have progressed since some of us old timers have left. Top 120 in the world, top 30 US. You guys are kicking ass and taking names. Congratulations.

I hope that you continue to keep this alive, so you give all of us non-raiders a chance to live vicariously through you! Haha. Everytime you kill something, every raid you attend, you add to the rich heritage of Bonechewer's Oldest Raiding guild (By now /shrug, maybe the Oldest Existing Guild). You are a part of that family now, and I hope you will continue to add to that legacy. Each one of you is integral in what makes Escaper who she is today.

Be proud to wear that <Escaper> tag. You guys are really doing incredible things. Keep up the great work. Give your officers hell keke, John, Brad, Jamie =P. And if you get a chance, ask someone to show you a screenshot of Promethius' "new recruit" boss explanation from the Illidari Council.

Prom is going through another apathetic phase - whether he will snap out of it this time is anyone's guess, but as long as they keep the game playable I think we stand a good a chance as any other guild with nothing left to do for 6 months of carrying on in Cataclysm.

Yah, the real goal is holding it down for a couple months till the new content comes out. Knowing you guys, you've probably built a strong core that will weather the storm. At least that's my hope.

All I can say is...find things to do. Stockpile consumables, get the absolute best the current content has to offer, so when the new shit comes out, it's pie. When all else fails....pick on Zuls. :boxing:
