I will admit that I can not for see the future but it should not change for at least the next three to four months.

6. Do you have any factors that may cause you to go AFK during raids (nagging significant others, kids, dogs, cats, arrest warrants)?

10. Is this Your First Main Character? If not, what did you used to play?

This is my first main character.

11. Last 3 guilds you were in, including current, and reason for leaving:

CryHavoc (Bonechewer) I took a 4 month break due to personal reasons that they knew about so no hard feelings. Was kicked due to inactivity.

Midnight (Mal'ganis) I was being harassed by members of the guild due to not wanting to raid 6 nights a week totaling 30 hours. So I told them to back off and then they attacked my personal like and that was the final straw.

Lemmings (Ner'zhul) It is my friend guild and I said I would come over and chill until I found a guild that would suit my interest.

12. Do you have any alts – if so would you be willing to run multiple raids either for learning purposes or to farm content?

I have a level 80 holy paladin and a level 80 disc priest that I would use to go on these if needed.

14. How you would like to benefit from being in Escaper; why did you choose Escaper?

I want to raid with a resto druid that does not suck and will push me to be my best. Every guild I have ever been in I have been the best druid or the only druid. Hoping here in Escaper Zowi will push me and I will push her to be better then we already are.

15. How do you feel about playing a role off the bench? Can you be ready on short notice if called upon? (Even if there is an opening for your class, it does not guarantee you playtime.)

I could and would be willing to ride the bench. During raids I would just work on my alts by doing heroics, farming mats for the guild, etc.

16. Are you willing to spend 400 gold a night in repairs and consumables, stay focused and wipe for 4 hours straight, come back the next day and do it all over again until a new boss dies (or even a "farmed" boss)?

Yes I am over and over again. Unless its an easy boss like gunship and we are wiping on it for a month and watching over guilds blow us by in progression then there might have a problem.

17. Can you maintain a high level of professionalism during raids AND on public forums – how sensitive are you to criticism?

As long as you are not going to attack my personal, professional, or family then I can take all the criticism you want to throw at me. This is at first most a game and a game it shall remain for me.

18. Do you have any PC or disconnect issues we should know about? If possible list your system’s specs. Who is your ISP?

I do not have many disconnection issues if any. My computer specs are a duo core processor at 2.8 ghz 2 gb of ram, and a 8600 geforce graphic card. My ISP is qwest business.

19. Can you use Vent? Do you have a Microphone and Headset? Are you comfortable speaking on Vent?

I do have vent, with a mic, and I can speak on vent.

20. Short Essay: This portion of the app is here for you to provide your "personal touch" and demonstrate your ability to articulate and show us what you are worth. Show us what sets you apart from the rest of the candidates; what makes you better? What can you bring to Escaper? What do you want us to know that wasn’t covered?

The first thing you should know about me is that I understand my class mechanic, I know how to survive during a fight, and I can push people to be better players. I have the confident to carry any 10 man from naxxaramas to icecrown citadel. However, where I lack is when there is no competition and people are just allowed to slide through regardless of there quality of play. I need competition to excel I need hard fights where if I screw up people will question my ability to play and make me a better player.

In Escaper I expect this excellence I expect people to care about there skill and want to be the best in the world. Not only this but I expect Escaper to care now, to care a month from now, three months, and farther. With that being said I bring to this guild a druid that will push Zowi to her limits, who is a team player, and will not quit regardless of how difficult the encounter is or how angry someone gets at me. I will always come prepared for 100 wipes and will never lay there and wait for a rez but be the first to run back.

A couple of questions that I think needed to be address that were not.

Describe your role in a 25 man instance, possibly one you played during fights listed under raiding experience. Be detailed, let us know how you play your class and why.

This is a hard question and let me know if you want me to go into more details later on.

On fights that consist of constant raid damage i.e. iron council hard mode, Twins Valkyrie hard mode door strategy, etc.

My healing rotations is this Rejuvation x 5 and then Wild Growth. Now mal'ganis is known for being one of the top progression servers in the world resulting in massive lag sometimes during raid. With my haste at 648 and hopefully soon to be back above 700 I may be able to squeeze in an extra rejuvenation there with minimal lag. So in that case it would be Rejuv x 6 and then Wild Growth.

On Fights where there is random raid damage and moderate damage on the tank i.e. firefighter, Lord Jerrazkus (Slaughter that name.) etc. This is how I would play it.

Keep a rejuvenation and a Regrowth up on all the tanks. Then cast rejuvenation on the people that pull aggro, are targeted by the boss, or do stupid shit like stand in fire, etc.

Now my swiftmend I keep in dire emergency someone health drops under 40% or tanks takes a massive damage spike.

For Wild regrowth I am just casting it off cd and when three or more people in close proximately take damage.

On fights where there is little to no raid damage and massive tank damage. I can't really think of a fight that falls into this category really only phases. General Vezax would be the only one that is close but then you have the mana issue and my play style would change to compensate.

Anyway when there is massive tank damage I always have a rejuvenation, regrowth, lbx3, on the tank. When the lbs bloom at 3 I put 3 more back on. Swift mend is always ready just in case of an emergency and so is nourish.

In regards to nourish this is a very useful spell when used correctly. I generally use nourish when there is spike damage from ice bolts etc as rejuvenation ticking 1 or 2 times before the person is at 100% full health leads to a lot of over heal.

Hi Brian, Thanks for taking the time to app. I don't have any real pressing concerns - Resto Druid's really aren't the terribly complicated to play as a class - it is all about knowing how and when to use what spell / glyphs where which isn't something you can see on forums.

If you can be online tonight a bit after 7 server, we can chat in game / vent. If that doesn't work for you, let me know when is good to talk.

You said that you took a 4 month break from the game due to personal reasons.

Will you be taking a break of this sort again?

What brought you back to the game?

Mylania,

I don't plan on taking any sort of four month break again due to coming back being really hard due gear and lack of sufficient character progression.

Now at the point ice crown is on farm and we are sitting with our thumbs up our butts going, "Okay! Blizzard you want to launch Catacylsm anytime soon we are really bored." Due to us clearing Icecrown hard modes and VOA within two nights aka the beginning of Wrath. I may take a week or two off and go on vacation but other then that; no I do not plan on taking any substantial breaks.

To be honest the thing that brought me back to the game was seeing Obesecow CryHavoc primarily resto druid doing so well. Here I was four months ago consider the number three resto druid in the game behind Zowi, and Vigor Mortis Resto Druid and now here was I sitting on the bench watching. So I said to myself; "Okay its time to make a comeback." So I guess you can call me the Micheal Jordan of Resto Druids.

Why I will stay is I think if I am accepted their will be that friendly competition between Zowi and I to push our skills to the highest limit. Just can't wait to see what my best will really be.

Zowi, I can't wait to talk with you at 7pm server time.

I can't really say I have ever paid much attention to what other druids were doing. Every once and a while I will go look at what top guild's druids are doing, try it out, decide I hate it, and switch back to what I was doing to begin with.

Theory and i don't get along, I do what feels right.

Zowi,

Hey what do you think of this setup.

http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Kilrogg&cn=Treezus

He is getting some interesting numbers on fights especially with his rejuvenation critting. Personally if only rejuvenation could crit creating living seed on targets I would be sold. However, considering we both know that rejuvenation heals for roughly 50 to 60 percent of our healing per fight having a rejuvenation that can tick for more while maintaining your 1 sec global cooldown could be to a druids advantage.

Two world of logs showing his performance on various hard mode fights in icecrown citadel.

and of course for fun you have to have a blood queen in there.

It is hard to see from logs how guilds split up their healing. It seems however, they just unleash Druid hots on the entire raid seeing as he uses nothing but rejuv and wg for almost every single fight.

We have found success not free-for-alling raid healing. It doesn't look pretty on meters, but the raids are stable, which is what matters (unless people don't understand fight mechanics and create unhealable situations /cough)

I have also tried to like rapid rejuv, but it just feels counter productive to me.

Yeah! Never thought about it that way I guess you could technically run up the numbers depending purely on the raid composition.

I agree with you though that free-for-alling raid healing is not the smartest thing as yesterday you can see in our rotface pull that we had everyone on the raid and no one on the tank. What happens tank dies, we wipe, people get pissy, and then you have guild drama.

On rapid rejuvenation vs swiftmend it is technically a decision between an extra global cooldown vs 50% increase healing on your rejuvenation.

This is how I got that 50%

If Rj currently ticks for 3000, that is 18000 healed over 18s, or 1000 hps. With RRj and 50% haste, that will be 18000 healed over 12s, or 1500 hps.

1000 hps -> 1500 hps is a 50% increase in hps,
